A Note from George
Firstly, thank you for signing up and joining me at the very start of building this platform. July has finally brought a sense of calm. With the heatwave now behind us and the school holidays transitioned from a frantic schedule of childcare duties to a cherished memory, we find ourselves in a reflective mid-summer lull. It is the perfect moment to refocus on what matters most: your professional trajectory.
This week, I have been pouring my energy into bringing more personality and warmth to our latest curriculum. We are not just training pharmacists; we are building confident leaders. The aim is simple: To provide practical pharmacy education and career support, resources that actually help you move forward. Not just theory. Not generic advice. But clear, usable guidance from someone who understands the realities of pharmacy practice, NHS applications, interviews, pressure, confidence, development, and trying to work out what the next step should actually look like.

Development of our Job Application and Interview Mastery course is underway. We have stripped away the clinical coldness, replacing it with authentic communication strategies that allow your true expertise to shine through during the selection process. It is about readiness for that next big leap.
Highlights From My Hospital Pharmacist Role
The Band 6 Cohort Preparations for our newest Band 6 cohort are officially underway. They will be thrown into the mix fairly quickly, but hey that is what we train and prepare for right?!
New Trainee Induction Induction plans for our upcoming trainees are already in the diary. And as always we are committed to ensuring every newcomer starts their journey with total clarity and support.
This week’s thought: Your pharmacy career does not improve by accident. It improves when you take time to understand where you are, where you want to go, and what skills you need to develop to get there. So before the next email, take 5 minutes and ask yourself: What is the one area of my pharmacy career I most want to improve over the next 3 months?
Once you know the answer, you can start making targeted progress rather than just hoping things improve over time. That is exactly what this platform is here to support. Over the next few weeks, I will be sending you practical content, early access updates, and behind-the-scenes progress as the course and website continue to grow.
